This itinerary covers Cornwall’s stunning coastline and a Midlands safari experience. Includes practical tips, postcodes, and realistic drive times.

Your Cornwall & Midlands Adventure: A 4-Day Trip Summary

Dates: Friday, June 20, 2025 - Monday, June 23, 2025

Group: 6 Adults, 1 Teen

Accommodation Base: Sea Acres Holiday Park (TR12 7LT), The Lizard, Cornwall

Important Notes for Your Friends:

Pace Varies: While some days were relaxed, Days 3 and 4 involved significant driving and packed activities!

Caravan Parking: Our Deluxe Caravan at Sea Acres had dedicated parking. For attractions, we used public car parks (postcodes provided) – keep in mind space/height limits for larger vehicles.

St. Michael's Mount: Access is tide-dependent (causeway at low tide, short boat trip at high tide).

Weather: Cornwall weather can change quickly, even in June – layers are always a good idea!

Day 1: Friday, June 20, 2025 - Arrival & Kennack Sands Immersion

Afternoon (4:00 PM onwards): Arrival & Settle In

Arrived at Sea Acres Holiday Park. Checked into our Deluxe Caravan and unpacked.

Took a relaxing 10-minute stroll directly from the park to Kennack Sands beach. Enjoyed the sandy shores, paddling, and rock pooling right on our doorstep.

Late Afternoon/Early Evening:

Explored the Sea Acres park facilities: indoor pool, Breaker's Bistro, Reef Bar, and convenience store.

Enjoyed a gentle walk on the Wild Meadow Nature Trail within the park.

Evening:

Dinner: Casual dinner at Breaker's Bistro on-site, or a takeaway from "Late Night Loaded" enjoyed at the caravan.

Relaxed Evening: Unwound with drinks at the Reef Bar or played games at the caravan.

Key Location: Kennack Sands Beach (TR12 7LT - Car park at Sea Acres).

Day 2: Saturday, June 21, 2025 - Lizard Peninsula & Harbour Charm

Morning:

Breakfast: Relaxed breakfast at the caravan.

Lizard Point Exploration: Drove to Lizard Point (approx. 14 mins / 4.9 miles from Sea Acres). Explored Britain's most southerly point with dramatic cliff views. (Note: Car park at TR12 7NT; larger vans might prefer Lizard Village Green at TR12 7NZ and a short walk).

Lunch:

Enjoyed lunch at Polpeor Cafe at Lizard Point, with its incredible views.

Afternoon:

Roskilly's Farm: Drove from Lizard Point to Roskilly's Farm (TR12 6NX) (approx. 20-25 mins / ~8 miles). Enjoyed meeting the animals, strolling through the meadows, and indulging in their famous ice cream and fudge.

Evening:

Porthleven Harbour & Dinner: Drove to Porthleven Harbour (TR13 9HJ) (approx. 25-30 mins / 8-9 miles from Roskilly's). Explored the picturesque fishing village and enjoyed a delicious dinner, including traditional fish and chips by the harbour!

Day 3: Sunday, June 22, 2025 - The Grand Cornwall Tour!

(Note to friends: This was a very busy day with a lot of driving, covering significant ground across Cornwall!)

Morning:

Early Start: Quick breakfast at the caravan to kick off a big day of exploration.

St. Michael's Mount: Drove to Marazion (TR17 0HT for parking) (approx. 40 mins / 20.5 miles from Sea Acres). Crossed the causeway (or took a boat) to explore the iconic castle, terraced gardens, and village. Allowed 2-3 hours for the visit.

Late Morning / Early Afternoon:

Land's End: Drove from St. Michael's Mount directly to Land's End (TR19 7AA) (approx. 45-50 mins / ~20 miles drive). Took the essential photo at the signpost and explored the visitor centre.

Afternoon:

Porthcurno Beach: Headed a very short distance from Land's End to Porthcurno Beach (TR19 6JX) (approx. 5 mins / ~2 miles). Enjoyed this stunning sandy beach. (The famous Minack Theatre is also nearby).

Evening:

Return to Sea Acres: Began the drive back to Sea Acres (approx. 1 hour 15 mins / ~35 miles from Porthcurno).

Dinner: After such an action-packed day, opted for a relaxed dinner at the caravan or Breaker's Bistro.

Day 4: Monday, June 23, 2025 - Departure & Safari Adventure!

Morning (before 10:00 AM): Check-out from Sea Acres

Enjoyed a final breakfast at the caravan.

Packed up and checked out of the caravan by 10:00 AM.

Late Morning / Afternoon: Journey & Safari Park

Began the long drive from Sea Acres towards the Midlands, heading for West Midland Safari Park (DY12 1LF).

Travel Time: Approx. 4 hours 45 minutes / 265 miles for this driving segment.

Spent the afternoon enjoying the drive-through safari and exploring the walking areas of the park.

Evening: Safari Buffet & Final Leg Home

After the safari, drove to Safari Buffet (Saphari) in Dudley (DY1 4AL).

Travel Time: Approx. 45-50 minutes / ~21 miles from West Midland Safari Park to the buffet. Enjoyed a hearty buffet dinner.

After dinner, completed the final leg of the journey home to B90 4FE (approx. 40-45 minutes / ~27 miles from Dudley).
